Physician's assistant Kristīne Vanaga has received a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in Nursing, a Professional Bachelor of Health Care degree and a Master of Education degree in Pedagogy. More than 20 years of experience working with outpatients and inpatients, mainly surgical and urological patients. Consults patients on a wide variety of healthcare issues, orders tests, examinations, refers them for consultations to relevant specialists, writes prescriptions and initiates appropriate therapy until the patient sees a specialist. Provides only paid services. For many years, she has also been visiting patients at home, where she performs a primary examination, orders and takes tests, performs a wide variety of dressings - from simple suture removal to complex dressings of trophic ulcers, bedsores, complicated fractures, etc., using both innovative solutions and training patients/patients' relatives to perform dressings themselves with available materials. Performs insertion and replacement of long-term urinary catheters, as well as epicystostomy replacement, including the first time with a special kit and string. Can prescribe and perform a variety of i/v systems depending on the patient's complaints and test results. Knows how to work with i/v catheters, CVK, PICC, porta catheters, and can also provide training, including on parenteral nutrition. Performs insertion/replacement of nasogastric tubes, can educate patients/patients' relatives on enteral nutrition.
Also works as a lecturer at the Riga Red Cross Medical College, teaches clinical procedures, therefore sometimes works together with future physician assistants.

Mareks Dobelis is certified as both an outpatient service and an EM physician's assistant. He has been working with patients of various profiles on an outpatient basis for more than 5 years - consults, examines and treats, as well as prescribes tests, refers patients for examinations and to specialist doctors. Performs i/v infusion therapy (including CVK, PICC and port), dressings of various complexity, removal of sutures, staples, ECG, Holter monitoring, insertion/replacement of a long-term bladder catheter, replacement of an epicystostomy, knows how to work with tracheostomies and respiratory aids at home, can educate patients and their relatives.
Dace Rihtere
Midwife
Midwife Dace Rihtere graduated from Riga Medical College No. 1 in 2018. Since 2023 has been practicing as a certified midwife. Dace describes herself as a positive and open person who possesses the art of seeing, feeling, appreciating, knowing when to be silent, holding on to what matters, loving, savoring the moment, not rushing, learning, and embracing changes. She views midwifery as a calling rather than merely a profession. In her work, she highlights communication, mutual trust during the care process, and active cooperation as the most essential elements.
Sentis Snidzāns
Physician's assistant
Sentis Snidzāns qualified as a physician's assistant at the University of Latvia Riga Medical College. Since 2019 works with the Emergency Medical Service, provides first aid at events and emergency care. Since 2023 also pays home visits to patients to change wound dressings, remove sutures and staples, and administer intravenous therapy.
